**The Role**

This is an opportunity to be a key part of an exciting new upscale restaurant in Whistler.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to ever evolving situations
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Enjoy working with premium, local ingredients
- Must be able to adapt to any additional tasks as assigned by the station lead, sous-chef, or executive chef
- You have a passion for food and thirst for knowledge
- Thrive in a energetic high pace environment
- You have experience in the kitchen and potentially have aspirations of competing in various culinary competitions
- You're a team player and a great communicator
- Work to a very high standard with efficiency and grace
- You have at least 2 years of experience in high-volume kitchens in a similar environment
