**Job Summary**

In-Person, 35 hours a week (M-F), and work hours: 8:30-4:30pm

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities.
- Maintain employee records and ensure accurate data entry in HR systems (ADP)
- Assist with payroll processing using ADP and ensure compliance with company handbook.
- Assign training to employees as needed
- Support employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Administer benefits programs and assist employees with related questions or issues.
- Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs, and job descriptions.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Chair and create agenda for JHSC Meetings as well as address employee H&S concerns.
- Ensure proper absence management and facilitate any return to work & accommodation processes as needed.
- Complete website updates as needed
- Any other tasks as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and firm information
- Experience with chairing JHSC & meetings (quarterly)
- Have a high standard of ethics as required by the HRPA
- 2-4 years of HR Generalist experience
- College or university degree relating to Human Resources, etc.
- CHRP or CHRL designation with the HRPA would be considered an asset
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to work with deadlines
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel & MS Outlook
- Previous experience processing payroll
- A positive, collegial, and goal focused attitude
- Ability to refocus quickly and work through frequent interruptions of work
- Experience using HRIS systems such as ADP

- Secondary School (preferred)
