Revenue Manager
Sandman Hotel Group and Sutton Place Hotel Company
Duties
- Collaborate and strategize with the General Manager, Director of Sales, Sales Managers as required with a goal of driving RevPAR and the associated Indexes
- Communicate and execute Revenue Management strategies and tactics with the properties.
- Ensure all sales and pricing strategies are based on sound judgement through effective analysis using all available tools.
- Create and execute an on going Revenue Management training program for our General Managers and others within the organization.
- Create and distribute reports with supporting commentary as required.
- Ensure professional and efficient use of all systems/tools, in line with company best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure properties are actively engaged in all revenue decisions by maintaining regular communication to effectively implement, drive and review optimal strategies and controls.
- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
- A university degree or college diploma in hotel management, revenue management, analytics, or other related discipline is required.
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in hotel revenue.
- Applicants are required to be flexible with work schedule
- Advanced knowledge of computer systems, particularly in Opera Cloud, Duetto, Travelclick product/services ideal
- Ability to travel when needed.

Applicable Skills
- Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal) and strong communication skills.
- Strong Communication and training skills.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and common sense.
- Must be well-organized, multi-task efficiently, and possess strong processes and procedure implementation skills.
- Must have time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize work for self and others.
- Excellent analytical skills, detail oriented, highly efficient, and accurate in execution of work.
- Additional language(s) an asset.
