**Why Remediation Program Management?**

**A typical day in the life as a WSP Project Coordinator**:

- Create a safe and positive environment for colleagues
- Demonstrate a non-wavering commitment to health and safety.
- Work closely with the project managers to:

- Prepare health and safety plans and emergency response plans.
- Prepare proposals and cost estimates.
- Schedule field staff and subcontractors.
- Compile data for reports.
- Write reports including preparing conclusions and recommendations.
- Conduct occasional field work including soil, groundwater, surface water and vapour investigations, monitoring programs and overseeing site remediation.
- Train junior staff in environmental practices including Phase I and II ESAs, drilling, surveying, groundwater sampling, oversight of remediation etc.
- Train staff on site specific health and safety.
- Collaborate across the national RPM team and WSP.
- Inspire team commitment to our Company Guiding Principles and Vision.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to technicians.Formulate a personal career development plan with specific goals to achieve your career aspirations.

**What you’ll bring to WSP**:

- A technical diploma or university degree or above in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in contaminated site assessment, soil and groundwater sampling.
- 1-3 years experience in an engineering consulting environment.
- An analytical mind; someone who is able to make recommendations on the next steps for client sites.
- Willingness to grow your career within the RPM team.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams and with multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eligible to register as a Professional or Professional in Training with an applicable associated (EGBC, BCIA, etc.)
