**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Neptune Theatre is seeking a highly organized and dynamic Box Office Lead. The role will be responsible for assisting patrons, sales, customer services, administrative tasks, and leading the team on the floor; all while ensuring Neptune’s values of safety, collaboration, inclusivity, and excellence are at the forefront of their work. The Box Office Lead reports directly to the Box Office Manager.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Providing Neptune patrons with exemplary customer service through efficiency and positivity with a thorough knowledge of the company, its events, and the building
- Ticket and subscription sales
- Customer account management and maintenance
- Following cash and credit handling procedures
- Dealing with customer complaints and issues, and escalating to management as needed
- Outbound courtesy calling and telemarketing sales calls
- Supervising the other agents and assisting management in leading the team by answering questions and providing information to the other team members
- Reviewing communications to patrons regarding promotions, sales, and packages
- Parking pass tracking and distribution
- Generating and maintaining informational sheets for Box Office stations
- Provide support and guidance for new hires during training and regular shifts
- Batch printing before a weekend of performances
- Mail-outs, minimum two (2) times per week and more as demand requires
- General administrative tasks
- Other duties as requested or required
**REQUIREMENTS**
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Experience supervising a team is an asset but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a variety of audiences
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and is detail oriented.
- Adept at multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and consistently meets deadlines
- Skilled in problem-solving and able to adapt quickly
- Exhibit a positive and collaborative attitude, fostering teamwork and cooperation
- Flexible schedule that allows availability to work evenings and weekends
**WAGE**
This position is $16.50 an hour for proximity 30 hours a week with daytime, evening and weekend availability. The position includes standard vacation pay of 4% and a comprehensive group benefit plan after a 3 month probationary period.
