**Salary**: $2,073.50 to $2,549.41 bi-weekly ($54,118 - $66,539 per year)
**Role Responsibilities**:
The Business Coordinator role is a key component to both the administrative structure and the effective and efficient operations of the Zone worksites. This administrative professional is responsible for the Business Unit’s productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, project administration and delivery in all aspects of administration for their assigned worksites and for assigned staff. Travel throughout the Zone is a requirement for this position.
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Support to Directors/Managers - This position provides complex and confidential support to Directors and Managers. The position interprets and implements legislation/regulations and government-wide policies and procedures related to the administration of financial transactions, Human Resources, Facilities Management, Records and Information Systems to ensure accountability and handling of FOIP and Audit requests.
- Leadership and Supervision of Administrative Team - The Business Coordinator is responsible for the provision of leadership to the administrative team(s) to ensure productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, project administration and delivery in all aspects of administration for their assigned worksites and assigned staff.
- Worksite/Program Administration - The Business Coordinator supports the Zone Leadership Team and staff to maintain the operations of the worksite(s) and staff they support by ensuring the administrative needs are identified and addressed by their team.
- Resource Management - The Business Coordinator supports the efficient use of resources and management in the strategic planning process by providing accurate year to date utilization reports, and tracking and analyzing future commitments and expenditures.
- Personnel - The Business Coordinator supports personnel processes and systems to ensure the efficient administration and support of the effective utilization of area human resources within the guidelines prescribed by the Collective Agreement, the Public Services Act, Human Resource Policies and Procedures, Zone Policy, Occupational Health and Safely Act, Regulations.
- Occupational Health and Safety - The Business Coordinator is not required to be an elected or appointed representative on the Joint Worksite Occupational Health and Safety Committee. There are, however, a number of functions that support management in the maintenance of an Occupational Health and Safety program that the Business Coordinator is required to support.

**Minimum Recruitment Standard**:
High school diploma and four years of related experience. Supervisor experience 2yrs.
**Equivalency**:Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:
- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience;
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.
