**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker and Pet Sitter to join our team. This role is perfect for animal lovers who enjoy spending time outdoors and providing excellent care for dogs. As a Dog Walker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the dogs in your care while offering a friendly and professional service to their owners. As a pet sitter you will take exceptional care of our clients pets and their homes while in your care. The Dog Walker/Pet Sitter position is full time permanent. You must be able to sign a **one year contract.**This is a contract position; therefore, **wage is based on how many dogs you walk**and how many pets you pet sit in a month.

**Responsibilities**
- Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and socialization.
- Maintain control of dogs at all times, ensuring their safety and the safety of others.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service to build strong relationships with clients.
- Clean up after dogs during walks and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
- Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to the owner promptly.
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding feeding, medication, or special needs.

**Qualifications**
- A genuine love for animals, particularly dogs, with a strong understanding of dog behavior.
- Previous experience in pet care or customer service
- A vehicle that can transport up to 6 dogs at a time and is drivable in ALL types of weather.
- Enjoy walking on the North Shore trails in ALL types of weather.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both pets, their owners and members of the public.
- Ability to manage up to 6 dogs at once while maintaining control and safety.
- Physical stamina to walk for extended periods and handle various dog sizes.
- Must own rain gear and hiking boots

Pay: $4,000.00-$6,000.00 per month
