Best Friends Pet Care needs a mature, reliable, permanent, full time employee.

Your duties will include: private & group dog walks and in-home pet sitting visits for cats & other small animals. We service Commercial Drive to UBC and Cornwall/Hasting to 41st Avenue in Vancouver.

Paid training is provided, including pet first aid certification. Wages start at $17.00 hr for the first 3 months, then $19/hr after for applicants with no experience. **For applicants with more than 2 years experience, we can discuss wages **Regular evaluations and raises are given. You will drive company cars, the cost of which is covered. Our office is in South Vancouver. There is opportunity to advance to management in the near future.

The positions are comprised of ongoing, regular, scheduled shifts each week available MONDAY, TUESDAY and FRIDAY. On average, you would be working 16-24hr hours per week. Shifts during the week are daytime/afternoon shifts and are not suitable for people with daytime commitments. This position is available immediately.

You must:

- Be legally allowed to work in Canada and insurable.
- Possess a valid driver's license and a good sense of the city.
- Have a strong command of English, spoken and written. We keep detailed records.
- Love all types of animals and the outdoors. We work rain, snow or shine.
- Be bondable and willing to complete a Criminal background check.
- Be detail oriented, able to adapt on the fly and work well on your own.
