**Overview of Position**
The Club Manager role is a critical role in our club, as you are responsible for building a strong club culture, meeting operational objectives, and most importantly building a cohesive team. First-rate people skills and a self-motivated work ethic are vital to this role. The Club Manager should demonstrate characteristics of a team leader and have a passion for health and fitness.
The nature of the job requires a high-energy self-starter. The Club Manager must be interested in making genuine connections with colleagues, members, and guests. As the Club Manager you have a valuable opportunity in molding the culture of the club by being a great motivator, presenting yourself and your team in a professional and consistent manor, and leading through the ups and downs of club members and staff interactions. In summary, the Club Manager is responsible for delivering an outstanding client/customer experience every-day, plus manage the following;
**Duties include but are not limited to**:
**Memberships**:
- Meet with new members, through appointments or walk ins
- Conduct club tours and membership meetings
- Covert inquiries to members
- Sell memberships and meet membership sales goals
**Prospecting and Lead Generation**
- Daily CRM management
- Prospecting through the CRM
- Prospecting for new memberships outside the club through different tactics ie. events, meetings/presentations, flyers etc.
**Personal Training**
The Club Manager is responsible to help build the personal training department through your trainers.
- Book FC’s and ensure FC booking goals are met
- Offer personal and group training services to current and new members and ensure club training goals are met
**Staff**
- Interview, hire, onboard and train new staff
- Have regular touchpoints with staff on day to day tasks, and continuously coach
- Staff performance is key, your responsibilities will be to ensure staff are meeting expectations. Praise often when staff are rising to the challenge, and if improvements are needed ensure corrective measures are clearly communicated and followed up.
- Meetings with staff often to offer coaching and communicate weekly, monthly, and yearly goals.
**Club Cleanliness & Repairs**
- Ensure club cleanliness standards are kept at all times
- Daily club cleaning is a must
- Ensure equipment is in good repair & conduct monthly equipment audits
**Club Culture**
The culture in our club is very important as it is the pulse and heartbeat which allows our members to get a feel for the personality of the club. The Club Manager is key to building said culture through deliberate actions and by surrounding themselves with a team that supports the culture fully. Club CM’s are tasked with creating an environment that inspires members and guests to share their positive experiences with friends and family. They deliver top-notch customer service and aim to improve the lives of each person they meet. When you love your gym, others will too. The Club Manager establishes relationships with businesses and influencers in the community to promote the brand through B2B marketing. This person also helps coordinate and execute engagement campaigns, national marketing campaigns, and community outreach efforts using assets and operations created by the Anytime Fitness corporate teams.
- Maintaining an excellent attitude in the club with both members and staff
- Greeting and saying goodbye to each member
- Maintain all boards within club
- Execute & plan events and other in club culture activities ie; Thirsty Thursday, member challenges, Fresh Fruit Fridays etc.
- Create a unified and cohesive team environment to support the Club Culture
- Run the club’s social media - actively posting and stories
- Maintain an outstanding rating on social media platforms
**Availability**
Club Managers must be available for a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
**Wage**
Wage and Monthly Bonus will be determined based upon individual experience level.

**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
