We are recruiting for the role of M Club Host. Our M Club host will create a warm and inviting experience in our M Club. They will provide VIP treatment to our Elite members and M Club paying guests offering an array of Food and Beverage options in a sophisticated environment. The M Club Host will be knowledgeable about the hotel, the downtown area and the many exciting attractions that Victoria provides, ensuring our guests enjoy all that our hotel and beautiful city have to offer.

A typical day in this role may look like:

- Greet guests in a timely manner with a friendly customer focused approach, projecting a positive and accommodating attitude while interacting with our guests.
- Monitor M Club for seating availability, service and satisfaction of guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas by clearing tables upon guest departure.
- Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs to the kitchen team promptly.
- Service of additional Food & Beverage menu items as required.
- Complete opening and closing duties.
- Provide a consistently high standard of service.
- Respond to requests from guests, also providing assistance and information about the local area such as directions, attractions, restaurant suggestions etc. when necessary.
- Make personal connections by learning the guests’ names, and engaging them in conversation as appropriate.
- Share knowledge about M Club benefits in addition to other hotel amenities and outlets.
- Confidently anticipate and respond to needs and expectations of our guests.
- Maintain a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What you have to offer**:

- Previous Hotel/Food Service experience is preffered
- Serving it Right certified.
- Food Safe Certified.
- AM availability is required. Must enjoy mornings
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Able to stand and or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to lift push or pull up to 50 lbs
