**Responsibilities** Functions**
- Advise and support client companies in the analysis process of life, critical illness and disability insurance claims as well as in litigated claims
- Ability to review complex files and participate in a co-signature system for file reviews
- Participate in audits with client companies, may have to present the results, provide recommendations to improve their procedures and file analysis tools and support clients in implementing the recommendations
- Ability to build, develop and maintain excellent client relationships
- Coach, train and support internal claims analysts on all lines of business
- Stay abreast of market trends affecting both group and individual insurance and play an active role in industry associations and groups, if applicable
- Can provide advice and offer support to clients in regards to group and individual insurance claims procedures and practices
- Lead or participate in projects and research relevant to field of expertise

**Requirements** Requirements**
- University degree or relevant experience
- 5-10 years of experience in the insurance field
- Acute business knowledge to allow proper management of claims requests
- Experience in individual and/or group insurance, both preferred
- Experience in reinsurance and claims auditing an asset
- Bilingualism: excellent knowledge of French and English, oral and written (more than 65% of our claims are in English and 35% in French)
- Available to travel (about 20%)
- Industry designation an asset
