- Cartage division with 5-ton trucks all with tailgates to handle LTL
- Trailer division to handle FL freight
- Overnight division for less time sensitive deliveries
- Rush division for time critical deliveries
- Warehouse storage and full pick and pack operation

**Job Title**: Warehouse Supervisor
**Reports to**: Operations Manager

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Develop and execute daily and weekly operational targets to meet and exceed customer requirements.
- Oversee team of warehouse staff (GL’s, admin personnel and forklift operators) and daily activities.
- Determine staffing levels and equally assign workload
- Coach, mentor, and train associates to ensure competence, as well as prepare them for future opportunities.
- Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
- Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
- Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
- Ensure all corporate policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
- Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse floor
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of forklift equipment.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards
- Determines work procedures and expedites workflow; reviews and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency
- Lead daily KPI meetings with other departmental leaders and Ops Manager
- Any other duties and tasks assigned
**Job Specifications (Knowledge, skills and abilities)**:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role preferably in 3PL environment
- Effective communicator, calm and supportive in stressful situations
- Experience with distribution centre processes (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, value added processing);
- Excellent understanding of warehouse operations and cost structures
- knowledge of applicable health and safety standards
- Superior planning and organizational skills; ability to multi-task in a busy environment
- Adept at problem solving, conflict resolution and implementing effective solutions
- Flexible and creative in overcoming new challenges on a regular basis
- Working knowledge of WMS and MS Office Suite. Experience with RF Pathways considered an asset
- First Aid certified considered an asset
- Post-secondary degree in supply chain or logistics management an asset

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a relatable role and environment
