Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will lead a team of warehouse associates and leads to ensure seamless day‑to‑day operations. Your focus will be to ensure that all direct and indirect material inventory movements, quantities, and quality are tracked accurately at all times. This is a 100% in‑person role, meaning you will be required to come to our Distribution Center located at 5491 Timberlea Blvd. Mississauga, L4W 2T6. What you will be doing: Supervise Warehouse Operations: Direct and oversee warehouse staff in receiving, shipping, and storing goods, ensuring that all SOPs and safety regulations are followed. Manage Inventory Accuracy: Ensure real‑time, accurate inventory records through cycle counts, stock transfers, and inventory reconciliations, addressing discrepancies with root cause analysis. Train Warehouse Staff: Provide training to warehouse personnel on inventory procedures, safety regulations, and systems to maintain high standards of efficiency and accuracy. Coordinate Inventory Movements: Organize the movement of materials within the warehouse and coordinate inventory transfers with other departments like Planning, Production, and Supply Chain. Enforce Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with OH&S acts and warehouse safety regulations, and report hazards or dangers. Support Cross‑functional Collaboration: Liaise with other departments such as Finance, Operations, and Quality to solve problems, enhance inventory metrics, and streamline operations. Monitor Warehouse Performance: Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities, including employee performance, to improve operational efficiency. Optimize Storage and Space Utilization: Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, adhering to storage design principles, and recommend improvements for efficient space utilization. Lead Process Improvements: Support and lead system implementations and warehouse projects to improve overall workflow and inventory accuracy. Investigate Discrepancies: Conduct thorough investigations into inventory variances and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Schedule and Coordinate Material Handling: Plan and execute the movement of materials in and out of the warehouse, coordinating closely with other departments to meet operational needs. Document and Update Records: Maintain accurate data entry in inventory systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Sheets), and ensure all transactions and physical counts are reconciled properly. At a minimum, you have: 3+ years inventory, warehousing, manufacturing and/or supply chain experience with a Bachelor's in Engineering, Business or a related field. Strong analytical, problem solving, and Excel skills. Energy, enthusiasm, and a can‑do attitude. Used to working in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced, and constantly changing environment. Professional certifications and/or licenses with Lean Six Sigma preferred. Availability to work weekend schedules and cold facilities. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Calendar, Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and video conferencing (Hangouts Meet).
