**About the opportunity**
As the Product Marketing Manager at CPA Canada, you will be responsible for the marketing of CPA Canada products and services to generate sales on offerings created by the Member Development and Support department.
The Product Marketing Manager will develop and recommend strategies that will deliver commercial success of products and services produced by MDS. Through an integrated planning process with MDS, RGS, and MCPA, integrated marketing plans with tactics and timelines, targets, performance measures, and outcomes will be developed and executed to implement the recommended strategies. The Product Manager will execute campaign proposals, plan and oversee digital and traditional marketing campaigns. This individual is responsible for campaign execution, monitoring, and data reporting on campaign objectives and will participate with MDS partners in the development of new products, services, and publications.
The role is responsible for the financial health of the assigned portfolio, its financial planning, and oversight of their budget lines. You will ensure that marketing needs are coordinated effectively and on-time, ensuring that all promotional tools are aligned to communicate effectively and present a consistent brand.
**What you'll do**
In this role, you will:
**Lead Integrated Marketing Campaigns**
- Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns to support MDS products, conferences, courses and publication sales
- Project management - Proactively develop project timelines for all projects. Project timelines are to show all the steps and corresponding timings needed to arrive successfully reach the agreed live date of the project. Schedules are to be coordinated and the stakeholders of the project.
- Work with internal business lines to develop rollout plans, campaign-specific messaging and marketing/event support collateral
- Collaborate and work in partnership with the Principal or Director responsible for the MDS product
- Develop Marketing Brief documents that indicated the communication objectives and requirements of the planned campaigns
- Develop and manage marketing-related budgets for the product marketing business line
- Actively monitor the quality of direct reports outputs as well as results across campaigns
- Provide marketing campaign post-analysis, including achievements, successes, challenges, learnings, and recommendations going forward.
- Develop an understanding of CPA Canada’s audiences and their interactions with the organization on a product by product basis, identifying opportunities for improved marketing communications and delivery strategies and provide insights to MDS product managers as needed
- Work with MDS partners to develop and deliver marketing campaigns to facilitate sales of partner products, defined as CPA Canada publications, CPA Canada programs (professional development programs, including specializations, conferences, symposiums, certificate programs, and In-depth courses) and e-learning programs (including podcasts and webinars for example)
- Collaborate with the sales team to set realistic sales targets and provide collateral marketing support as required
**Relationship Management**
- Develop relationships with peers across the organization and associates across the industry to understand activities and issues to support the identification of opportunities to leverage resources, share information, and collaborate on initiatives, influencing outcomes
- Manage relationships with external agency partners and stakeholders to ensure project/campaign deliverables and expectations are effectively managed and adhering to budgetary expectations
- Build relationships with industry colleagues to remain current on best practices and emerging trends
**Quality Improvement**
- Focus on delivering results-orientated product marketing campaigns
- Adhere to CPA Canada policies and procedures
- Act as a role model, providing leadership while clearly articulating the organization's vision to motivate direct report and other employees
- Manage the day-to-day activities of direct reports, assigning and directing work, as well as monitoring workloads (ensuring outputs are handled within acceptable turnaround times)
