We are looking for:
A qualified Electrical and Instrumentation Technician.

We can count on you for:

- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&ID’s, loop sheets, vendor instructions and work specifications.
- Install and maintain low and medium voltage electrical distribution and control equipment up to 13,800 volts.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and repair solid state and electro-mechanical controls and pneumatic control instrumentation and valving.
- Have a working knowledge of safety valves, conservation vents and rupture disks.
- Lay out, design and construct control cabinets and panels.
- Interface with outside vendors and/or contractors for technical assistance and troubleshooting.
- Assist with job scheduling and material specification.
- Responsible for tracking time with associated work orders during scheduled shift.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

You will bring:

- Minimum of 3+ years of industrial experience with 5+ years preferred.
- Must be certified Instrumentation Technician (447A). Dual certification as a certified Industrial Electrician (442A) preferred.
- Working knowledge of electronic test equipment.
- Working knowledge of Distributive Control Systems (DCS).
- Working knowledge of PLC and motor control troubleshooting.
- Be familiar with a wide range of instrumentation.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems for interfacing with electrical and instrument equipment plus computerized maintenance management system.
- Knowledge of digital smart transmitter technology.
- Experience working with installations up to 13,800V is preferred
- Familiarity with Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
