**Job Summary**

This position is currently **temporary** but has the potential to become a permanent part-time position.

**Duties**
- Cleaning, inspecting, packaging, sterilizing, and storing reusable instruments.
- Following CSA standards and manufacturer instructions for use of equipment.
- Operate and maintain equipment, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the MDR setting according to CSA standards.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical technology and practices.
- Reporting non-compliance and participating in recall procedures if necessary.
- Assist in training new staff members on procedures and protocols.
- Accurately recording temperature and humidity in various areas and taking necessary action to keep temperature and humidity within the required range.

**Requirements**:

- Current Medical Device Reprocessing Association of Ontario Certification
- Previous experience as a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required to ensure accuracy in testing and reporting results.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a high standard of care for patients.
