Veterinary Client Service Representative

**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Provide outstanding customer service to pet owners by addressing inquiries and concerns regarding their pets' health and care.
- Utilize veterinary terminology to communicate effectively with clients about their pets’ conditions and treatments.
- Handle animals safely and humanely, demonstrating proper animal restraint techniques during interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to aseptic techniques when necessary.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
- Document client interactions accurately in the system for future reference.
- Answer incoming phone calls from clients, providing accurate information and assistance as needed.
- Preform follow up and appointment confirmation phone calls.
- Manage and respond to Google reviews, maintaining a respectful and professional tone at all times.
- Assist with social media accounts (ie. facebook, Instagram). Create and schedule engaging social media content.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in veterinary settings or animal care environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Avimark is an asset.
- Experience with handling of dogs and cats.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and compassionately.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and the ability to create and manage basic content.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
