Acme Fire & Safety is looking for a permanent full-time fire protection service technician to join our team in beautiful Kelowna, BC.

We are looking for dedicated and talented service technician who enjoys working with their hands, delivering great customer service and likes a job with many different daily aspects and challenges. **Must-Have**:

- Clean drivers abstract & be bondable
- Great positive attitude, Dependable, On-time team player
- Work off ladders, lift up to 50LB comfortably
- Mechanically or electrically inclined and not be afraid to get a little dirty
- Effectively be able to fill out required reports using an iPhone app
- Self-starter that can work without supervision
- Good communication and customer service skills
- We are not looking for short term or part-time employee

** Job requires use of Personal Protective devices such as respirators, and safety goggles (provided by Acme)

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Servicing fire and life safety equipment, both in-shop and at customer locations primarily throughout the BC interior.
- Servicing fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, emergency lighting, Fire Alarms and much more.
- Some out-of-town travel is required - mostly day trips, but some overnight and multi-day trips are occasionally required.

ASTTBC Fire protection certification or CFAA certification is definitely an asset, but not required.

Training will be provided with the understanding when trained, ASTTBC certification will need to be obtained by any new employee.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
