Hybrid: 3 days on-site

Term: Full time, permanent

High Tech Genesis is looking for a Systems Specialist to provide the initial setup and configuration of a users’ newly purchased video recorder and IP cameras.

You will be responsible to ensure the customer’s equipment is configured as per the purchased solution’s requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Remotely configuring network settings for each recording device
- Configuring camera naming and adjusting image settings
- Setting up camera motion detection and other analytics features
- Ensuring accurate time synchronization across devices
- Establishing retention rates for recorded data
- Creating and managing retention schedules and corresponding actions
- Configuring alarm, audio, and relay actions as needed
- Experience configuring CCTV, IP video solutions or other related hardware
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, testing, configuring and integration of CCTV systems and devices
- Good understanding of CCTV system operations and design

Desired skills:

- CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certifications
