A Little About Us
ISL’s Marketing and Creative Service’s Team is a tight knit, high energy group who supports all 14 of ISL’s offices in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Yukon Territory. We:

- Function as an in-house ad agency - we are ISL’s marketing consultants
- Are trusted advisors - we build relationships and understand our business to effectively support the communication and business development efforts of ISL Project Managers and internal teams
- Always have time to be creative - offering project and client-appropriate solutions

A Little About You
**Your cover letter must demonstrate**:

- How you anticipate needs, think logically and strategically, exercise good judgment and act independently as necessary

**Your resume should show us**:

- A diploma or degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Any past experience working in marketing and/or communications where organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication were important
- Proficiency working in a Microsoft Office environment, bonus if you’ve worked with Copilot

**Bonus points for**:

- Previous experience working in an engineering or architectural office
- Familiarity with WordPress and social media platforms.
- Proven experience in creating marketing materials using AI-powered and automation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Canva, HubSpot, Zapier, ParseHub, etc.) to enhance efficiency, content quality, and campaign effectiveness

**Your Strengths**:

- You like to take the lead on projects, finding source information, writing content, and delivering copy to the internal team of talented visual designers - from on-page infographics to 2D and 3D video.
- You have your hand in the coordination and creation of business development initiatives - sponsorships, social media, intranet, and website - you look for ways to maximize the content you create with experience in scheduling, wrangling key contributors, driving toward, and achieving deadlines.
- A relationship builder, you strive to be the internal client go-to for marketing advice, help and support.
- You take pride in how we present our projects, our people, and our culture online, in our professional networks, and to each other.

**Responsibilities**:

- Social Media Coordination: assist in creating and scheduling content across social media platforms, aligning with marketing campaigns and brand guidelines.
- Website Maintenance: update and maintain ISL’s WordPress website, including managing photo assets, publishing project profiles and blog content, and developing new webpages as required.
- Project Photography: coordinate between project managers, consultants and photographers to acquire project photography. Assist in organization of photo assets.
- Sponsorship Content: track and coordinate requirements for conference and tradeshow sponsorships. Assist in creation of content to support business development efforts at these events.
