**Field Warranty/Service Technician**
**Job Overview**
Promote and adhere to Premier Built Garages Safety program and ensure all employees and trades work in a safe manner.
- Communicating and maintaining positive relationships with trade partners, suppliers, and clients.
- Inspecting work to ensure it meets company standards and all building & safety code requirements.
- Demonstrate conflict-resolution skills, problem-solving abilities, and professional judgment.
- Completing required repairs, handling general deficiencies.
**Job Requirements**
Completing warranty service work which includes:
- Assessment and evaluation of deficiencies and/or warranty claims.
- Trouble shooting basic structural, mechanical, and electrical issues.
- Advise Warranty Coordinator of the materials and/or trade partners required to complete the corrective action.
- Assist with the coordination and scheduling of trades for repairs.
- Verifying satisfactory completion of repairs.
Self-Performing tasks include, but not limited to
- Passage door adjustments (door shimming), deadbolt and strike plate alignment,
- Exterior building repairs (siding, soffit, facia, shingle removal and installation)
- Overhead door and motor trouble shooting.
- Overhead door programing (limits, forces, remotes, keypads, etc.)
Scheduling constructions activities includes:
- Verify sites are ready for trenching,
- Schedule Trenching and Electrical Contractor,
- Verify work is completed,
- Book inspections.
Other requirements:
- Physically able to carry out basic construction duties.
- 3 years of progressive experience in residential construction.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license (Drivers abstract required for company vehicle)

Premier Built Garages is an independently owned and operated garage builder, located in Edmonton, Alberta. Premier specializes in building all types of detached garages as well as garage suites.
Premier Built Garages consists of a highly skilled team with extensive experience in the construction industry and partners with some of the best sub-trades and suppliers in the industry. This allows them to excel in all areas of the business; from sales to construction and through to completion.
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
