**Position Overview**

We are seeking a **Lane Control Technician** to join our team. This role involves managing and maintaining safe traffic flow in and around work zones. The Lane Control Technician will work closely with Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) and site supervisors to ensure compliance with safety standards and traffic management plans (TMPs).

**Key Responsibilities**
- Set up, adjust, and remove lane control devices, including signs, cones, barricades, and traffic lights.
- Monitor traffic flow to ensure smooth movement and address disruptions as needed.
- Collaborate with TCPs to direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic safely through work zones.
- Maintain communication with site supervisors and project teams to implement traffic adjustments.
- Inspect and maintain lane control equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Complete required documentation and reports for traffic control activities.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in traffic management or a similar role is preferred.
- Certification as a Traffic Control Person (TCP) is an asset.
- Strong understanding of traffic control principles and road safety standards.
- Ability to operate lane control devices and related equipment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle to get to and from jobsites.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

- Traffic Control Person Card (preferred)
