**Job Details**
**Position Title**: Program Support Officer
**Status**: Initiatives and Opportunities (I/O) - 2 year contract
**Hours**:37.5 hours
**Faculty/Department**: Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellness.
**Campus/Location**: North Campus
**Salary**: Payband G - starting at $30.87

**Education**:
Three-year diploma/degree or equivalent in English studies, Communications, Finance, Human Resources, and any other related fields of study.
**Experience & Skills**:
Minimum of three (3) years’ progressive administrative experience in a post-secondary environment. Experience compiling and analyzing data from various sources, producing reports, and identifying trends from data to develop solutions and strategies. Proof reading and formatting a variety of communications for internal and external use.
- Experience with Destiny 1
- Supporting curriculum planning, and academic program delivery.
- Interpreting policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in formatting documents and troubleshooting issues with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat.
- Familiarity with the requisition and purchase order process
- Efficiency in the organization of multi-layer and complex processes and systems
- Tactful handling of confidential and sensitive information
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimum supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to use office equipment - phone, photocopier, printer, fax and troubleshoot technical minor problems.
- Proven excellent verbal and written communications skills
