Kitchen Supervisor/line Cook

**Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Delegate cleaning tasks to other team members and ensuring follow-up.
- Monitoring labour costs and adjusting staffing levels accordingly.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and cleaned regularly.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is required, with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to continually learn and improve cooking skills.
- 5 or more years supervisory experience of teams over 10 people.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
