Job Summary

As a BIM Coordinator, you will work under limited supervision and deliver high quality drawings and models for our engineering teams. You will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary models and effectively plan, coordinate and organize project documentation.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities

Working closely with our engineering team, you will be accountable for the set-up and production of drawings and 3D models across multiple projects. As a BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for the BIM scope and that our models are aligned with the project BIM Execution Plan. As a member of the BIM Team, you will provide input into the technical standards, templates, workflows and procedures to further develop the quality of our deliverables. In addition, may be responsible for mentoring and teaching junior staff as well as the engineers in your team and projects.

Key Skill Requirements
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and how to logically set out and coordinate the services.
- Experienced Revit user and able to produce highly detailed models including:

- Model setup and management.
- Manage views, sheets and drawing lists.
- Enforcing BIM standards (internal and project/client standards).
- Responsible for model deliverables and presentation.
- Assist engineers with model coordination and highlighting clashes.
- Family creation and content management.
- Good understanding and experience with Navisworks including navigation, save viewpoints & clash detection.
- Knowledge of BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud and how to publish, share and consume models.
- Ability to read and understand engineering mark-up drawings.
- Very good attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify cross-discipline coordination issues.
- Must have strong organizational skills, able to manage own workload and engineers’ expectations.
- Self-motivated with good time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Computer literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

**Qualifications**:

- University Degree, Diploma or Higher Education Qualification in Architecture or Engineering

Project Experience

AND/OR

Exposure to three large multidisciplinary projects. Working in a BIM role as part of the design team across multiple project stages and being responsible for the production, setup and service coordination.
