They have also mentioned having the ability to work on multiple typologies. Why This Role is Open: We are seeking a talented and motivated BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging technology to drive design excellence and streamline workflows. Responsibilities: BIM Management: Manage and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with project teams to ensure BIM standards and best practices are followed. Conduct regular model reviews and quality control checks. Model Creation and Coordination: Develop and maintain accurate and detailed BIM models. Coordinate with other disciplines, including structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to ensure model integration. Resolve clashes and conflicts within the BIM model. Data Extraction and Reporting: Extract data from BIM models for various purposes, such as quantity takeoffs, clash detection, and construction documentation. Generate reports on model performance and project progress. Workflow Development and Improvement: Collaborate with the BIM team to develop and implement efficient BIM workflows. Identify opportunities to improve BIM processes and standards. Must Haves: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in BIM coordination or modeling. Proficiency in Revit and other BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, Dynamo). Strong understanding of building information modeling principles and workflows. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Nice-to-Haves: Experience with BIM authoring tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD). Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Dynamo). Experience with BIM standards and protocols (e.g., BIM Level 2, BIM Level 3). Understanding of construction documents and specifications.
