**Duties and responsibilities**
- Ability to work closely with the sales team to create proposals that contain the proper content and price point that will appeal to the customer and generate further discussions
- Generate Cost Estimates based on performance specifications, and customer build specs
- Finalize concept with customer and/or obtain additional information. Site visits may be required from time to time
- Create final quote with all supporting concept drawings and specifications
- Consistently stay up-to-date on new technology in order to stay current with the latest technologies that could improve company overall results.

**Qualifications**
- Intermediate level Autocad.
- Intermediate level Solidworks.
- Intermediate level MS Project
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office
- Familiarity and experience with machining design and machine building practices including automated machinery and robotics.
- Intermediate level Pneumatics and Hydraulics design and operational principles.
- Must have a good understanding of welding and fabricating practices and materials.
- Intermediate level understanding of controls such as PLC, SERVOs and HMIs as it would pertain to costing development.
- Capable of maintaining confidentiality and non-disclosure as it pertains to sensitive customer information and costing methods.
- Strong mathematical background and a solid understanding of job costing.

**Education/Experience**:
Mechanical Engineering Technologist (5 to 8 years of experience in related in an Engineering and Manufacturing industry coupled with knowledge and experience of Industrial controls.)

**Interpersonal**:

- Ability to take direction and ask questions when required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
