**Position Summary**: Prepares and cooks pastries and desserts for the restaurant and for special occasions, conferences and other functions in a manner consistent with a superior dining facility.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity.
- Prepares and cooks items for pasty dessert items for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Sets up line for the lunch buffet when required and cooks all menu items on a daily basis.
- Work in and maintain a clean environment.
- Assists in the preparation of stocks and soups as required under the direction of the
Executive Sous Chef.
- All other duties as assigned.
**What You'll bring to the team**:
- Grade 12 or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience working in a similar role.
- Excellent eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills for cutting, chopping and
arrangement of meals on plate.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Current Safe Food Handler’s Certificate.
- Basic literary skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $17.85-$18.79 per hour
