We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with food and beverage operations, including taking orders, serving customers, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using a POS system
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously
- Assist with food preparation and ensure all items are presented in an appealing manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors
- Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change to customers
- Upsell menu items to increase revenue
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred
- Strong math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to help out in various areas of the establishment as needed
Please note that all positions at our company are paid, including internship positions.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.55-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
