E-Commerce Manager

About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:

- Achieve sales targets for e-commerce business
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce website and create the best customer experience on ultimatetools.ca to maximize conversion and enhance user engagement and ultimately drive sales
- Identify technologies such as AI, SMS, chat, Shopify extension, and more, to grow our e-commerce business and improve customer experience
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of a Shopify website. Ensure the sites functionality and security, Collaborate with web developer, where necessary.
- Ensure product information is represented accurately on website
- Monitor web analytics and internal data sources to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Work alongside marketing to develop and execute strategic roadmaps to drive traffic, including SEO, PPC, and content marketing strategies
- Prepare regular reports and analysis on key performance indicators, including conversion rates and ROI
- Ensure the security and integrity of the e-commerce platform, including protection against cyber-attacks and technical issues
- Conduct A/B testing and other analytical techniques to optimize website performance and user experience
- Manage online product catalog, pricing, and promotions to maximize sales and profitability.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of e-commerce management experience of a Shopify site (or similar), with a track record of driving online sales and revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce principles, including website design, user experience, and conversion optimization
- Knowledge of woodworking tools and their functions
- Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- Excellent leadership and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
- Experience with NetSuite an asset
- Experience working in omnichannel retail preferred
- Experience working with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce
- Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Working Conditions:

- Regular office hours, on site
- Occasional travel may be required for industry events or meetings.

**Salary**: $68,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
