We have an opportunity for an experienced and talented Key Account Manager, for the AlbertaTerritory. You will manage business development activities and customer engagement within a specific geographical territory. As a professional sales executive you thrive on building long term relationships. This is a hybrid role which you will mange both independent retail customers and select multi unit independent customers in Vancouver.
Position: Key Account Manager
Location: Calgary AB
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retail, foodservice, and distribution partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
- Conduct regular account reviews and business meetings to identify growth opportunities and address concerns.
**Sales Growth & Territory Development**
- Achieve or exceed sales goals, volume targets, and key performance indicators for the Calgary territory.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities and new key account listings.
- Manage the sales pipeline and track performance against targets.
**Order & Listing Management**
- Place and manage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels, pricing, and promotions to ensure product availability and competitiveness.
- Lead efforts to gain new product listings across key customers and retail partners.
**Promotional & Business Planning**
- Collaborate with marketing and operations to plan, execute, and evaluate promotional activities.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and present business reviews, promotional calendars, and sales forecasts.
**Territory & Field Execution**
- Ensure strong in-store execution of merchandising standards, displays, and planograms.
- Conduct regular store visits and customer check-ins to maintain visibility and relationships.
- Provide market feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in food distribution, CPG, or related industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Calgary territory.

Compensation: competitive base salary, car program, bonus program, profit sharing, RRSP matching +perks
Pay: $55,000.00-$63,000.00 per year
