_**The Opportunity**_

Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager is an integral role responsible for helping to drive strategic growth, owner retention, team development as well as optimizing operational efficiency. This is a fast-paced position that has a fundamental part in building positive relationships, developing community engagement as well as implementing new initiatives. This role is fundamental to our brand awareness and will embody our corporate identity.

Craft Property Group Inc. is a residential property management Company (an affiliated company of Aventus Developments), committed to providing comprehensive and exceptional service to both homeowners and tenants across Southern Ontario. Based out of Burlington Craft has a deep-rooted understanding of how to foster a safe, fun and welcoming living environment for residents, while providing owners with first class property management services.
- **Essential Functions**_

**Drive Strategic Growth**: Work with the General Manager to implement growth-focused initiatives, oversee budget management, and set performance targets that support Craft Property Group’s expansion.

**Team Leadership & Development**: Build, develop, and oversee the owner relations team. Set clear performance expectations, cultivate a cooperative culture, and ensure smooth communication both within the team and across departments.

**Property Management Oversight**: Collaborate with property management teams to ensure efficient operations, maintain high-quality standards, and resolve owner issues effectively. Regularly assess property performance and operating expenses.

**Process Improvement & Optimization**: Conduct in-depth assessments of current operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement across departments. Document and create process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), to increase efficiency and scalability across all operational areas, from owner management to maintenance workflows.

**Client & Owner Relations**: Serve as a main point of contact for owners, cultivating strong relationships and responding promptly to inquiries. Oversee owner interactions, ensuring a 5-star experience that builds loyalty and drives positive reviews and referrals.

**Sales & Leasing Support**: Partner with the leasing and sales teams to ensure effective lead management, lease execution, and unit turnover. Work on initiatives to drive occupancy and support leasing goals.

**Event & Community Management**: Plan and execute resident and owner events to foster community engagement and enhance their experience, working closely with the marketing team to drive brand loyalty.

**Implement New Initiatives**: Identify and implement innovative programs that enhance client services, improve resident experience, and streamline operations in alignment with Craft’s growth strategy.

**Communication Strategy**: Develop and oversee communication plans to ensure consistent, clear messaging between owners and internal teams.

Who you are:

- 7+ years working in real estate/property management is a must.
- Post secondary education in a related discipline
- Innovative and forward-thinking leader with strong communication skills
- Experience with CMRAO and the condominium act considered an asset
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven experience as a manager, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Organized and able to manage projects and multitask effectively.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Proven experience in process improvement or operations management (3-5 years).
- Weekly travel to our locations in Waterloo & London

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
