We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our team. As a Logistics Associate, you will be responsible for booking in orders, arranging deliveries with various drivers, assisting with warehousing, receiving product, inventory, billing cutomers daily. Learning the entire aspects of the supply chain, including transportation, warehouse operations, and order fulfillment. Your role will involve optimizing processes, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining accurate closing and billing of orders.
**Duties**:
- Coordinate and monitor all logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing and fulfillment
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and optimize routes
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and storage
- Perform order picking and packing as needed
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve any logistics issues or delays
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in logistics operations
- Operate forklifts or other equipment to move materials within the warehouse
**Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of logistics principles and supply chain management
- Experience with transportation management,
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, and inventory control
- Ability to analyze data and identify areas for process improvement
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and customers
Note: All positions at our company are paid, and we do not offer unpaid internships.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
