**ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/CLERICAL**

**Title of Position**:Administrative Assistant/Clerical
**Term**:Part Time - up to 24 hours per week

**Start Date**:ASAP

**Location**: North York

**ROLE**:
This position reports to the Director of Finance, but the role will be shared by Finance and
Administration/Human Resources:

- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Director of Finance and the EA/HR Coordinator.
- Provide occasional back-up at Reception.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education/Training**:

- Minimum two to five years at experience in a related administrative position is required; direct experience in a not-for-profit is highly desirable, but not necessary
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions, prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills relating to planning, record-keeping, and maintaining and executing an ongoing timetable of activities
- Excellent telephone manner as well as verbal and written communication skills
- Requires initiative, can work independently and strong team player
- Detail oriented, focused and able to multi-task

*Police Reference Check is a requirement for this position

**REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES**:
**Administrative & Clerical Support**
- Provide administrative, clerical and coordination support in Finance, HR and Administration
- General word processing, data entry and extensive filing
- Develop and maintain filing system
- Support in scheduling regular and Zoom meetings as well as preparation for meetings

Internet research
- Assist with coordinating and preparing for events
- Backup at Reception desk when required
- Other basic tasks as required
