Technology Support Specialist

**Job Title**:Technology Support Specialist (IT)
**Reporting to**: Director of Technology
**Role Definition**:
Working in conjunction with all departments, the Technology Support Specialist will provide technical assistance, installations, and maintenance when required, as well as provide support to staff on special projects through training and documentation development to ensure systems are utilized fully. This role requires an individual who can work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
**Responsibilities**
- Offer ongoing technical support by responding to issues, providing hardware upgrades and performing installs.
- Manage equipment setup and deployment for new employees
- Make recommendations for new developments and improvements on existing Information Systems
- Document and enforce system, policies and procedures.
- Orient and perform Technical Training on software enhancements.
- Network Security Management.
- Web Development
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- Information or Computer Science Degree/Certification or relevant experience
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- ERP knowledge an asset (Infor Visual an added benefit)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication Skills
- Bilingual (English & French)
- Strong Documenting and problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to facilitate teamwork across departments
- Experience in Web Development and SQL an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $1.00 per hour
