**Technical Services Manager**:
We are presently seeking a Technical Services Manager located in Southwestern Ontario. The Technical Services Manager position supports automotive aftermarket parts warranty and training initiatives. The training duties of this position require effective presentation skills in order to successfully conduct product/technical seminars, and Instructor Led hands on training to the independent automotive aftermarket. Technical aptitude & the ability to present technical information in front of a large audience is essential to this role.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Conduct technical training.
- Provide technical product support.
- Conduct warranty inspections.
- Conduct field product investigations/reporting.
- Liaise with customer field staff.
- Support customer trade shows.
- Any other duties as required..
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive industry experience.
- Journeyman Automotive Technician with a Valid Class ‘A’ Automotive Technician License (or Provincial Equivalent) with automotive aftermarket parts experience preferred.
- Extensive working knowledge of automotive systems.
- In-depth knowledge of repair procedures and day-to-day workings of an independent service repair Centre.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience
- Valid ODP Certification license, instructor status is an asset.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independent of daily supervision.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Working knowledge of various automotive diagnostic tools
- Pico Scope, Scan Tools, etc.
- Valid driver’s license as driving a vehicle on a daily basis is an essential function of this position.
- Ability to obtain a valid passport and be able to travel to U.S.
- Some overnight travel required.
