Bookkeeper (Administrative)

The Administrative Bookkeeper in consultation with the Accounting Manager is responsible for all accounting entries, adhering to set accounting practices and procedures and the organization of accounting and administrative records for all companies.
**Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm**
**Duties **_(full job description available) _**:
- Accurately and efficiently posting all accounting entries specifically bank deposits into Simply Accounting/Sage 50 accounting system and company database system.
- Provide financial reports as requested/required from Company Officers
- Receive and process proof of payment for Credit Card and Check payments
- Assist in the preparation of all documentation for internal and external audits
- Post weekly payroll invoices for all companies
- Assist branches with reopening an order and ensuring that is it closed again.
- Assist in reconciliation of bank accounts
- Respond to all request and maintain proper record of all companies insurance policies.
- Timely renewal of all the companies vehicle plate stickers and also required to maintain and update the current excel sheet.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- REQUIRED COMPUTER SKILLS: Strong Excel skills
- Simply Accounting or Sage 50 (minimum 2 years)
- Certificate in Bookkeeping/Accounting from a recognized college/university
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Bookkeeping/Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years in an administrative setting
- Highly responsible and extremely trustworthy with confidential records and information - discrete and professional
- Ability to effectively multitask
- Exceptional organization ability
- Able to work at a fast pace with exceptional thoroughness and accuracy in all duties
- Excellent interpersonal written and oral communications
- Exceptional receptionist skills - friendly, helpful, positive attitude
- The ability to work independently and with others in a team atmosphere
**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
