**Job Summary**: Responsible for Shipping/Receiving dock traffic, forklift operations, shipping/receiving truck schedules, inventory flow, maintaining accurate shipping/receiving records & inputs that affect customer scorecards, Container Management and FG/Component Warehouse Management (FIFO)
**Required Education and Experience**:
- High School Diploma
- Forklift Operating License
- Experience in ERP systems, Epicor/CMS a plus
- Experience in customer portals
- 5 years Shipping/Receiving experience
- Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment preferred
- Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
**Essential Functions**:
- Follow all work and safety instructions for all assigned operations
- Operate assigned mobile equipment, including fork trucks/tuggers safely and with due consideration to pedestrian and safety regulations
- Develop and execute strategies for inventory flow throughout plant
- Develop and maintain dock schedules for Shipping/Receiving ensuring all window times are met
- Develop forklift routing for entire plant
- Create and maintain forklift operator schedules
- Ensure completion of the necessary documentation: Forklift Checklist/Circle Check prior to and after shift end by Team Members
- Maintain warehouse, finished goods and outside dock areas of plant in accordance with 5S policy
- Manage Inventory, flow and storage of Plant and Customer Dunnage. Update Customer Systems as required
- Support and maintain Customer Systems and Portals as required (Container Management, Window Time validation, Shortage tickets, ASN validation, etc.)
- Maintain customer scorecard ratings for applicable Shipping/Receiving inputs (ASN's, dock window time adherence, shortage ticket answering, etc.)
- Develop actions to achieve & maintain 95% absolute accuracy/98% Net accuracy on inventory cycle counts to eliminate physical inventory mandate
- Ensure processing and receipt of products on a timely basis to keep Inventory System updated
- Mentor other personnel in the department and assist in their development
- Ability to supervise a team of people and delegate tasks based on roles, responsibilities and workload
- Perform regular inspection/maintenance and safety checks on all related equipment as required (Forktrucks, Dock Locks, Dock Plates, etc.)
- Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook
**Work Environment**:
- Office Environment and Plant Floor (PPE required)
**Physical Demands**:
- Effectively communicate with direct reports, associates, peers, and management
- Overtime as required
**Health and Safety**:
- Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and procedures
- Must use or wear Personal Protective Equipment and certain clothing as required by the Company
