- Job Duties**Job Duties**Develop, implement and evaluate educational and curriculum development initiatives (i.e., faculty and program consultations, training sessions, communities of practice, resources) that focus on advancing indigenous perspectives and pedagogies.
- Consult with and support academic programs to advance Indigenous perspectives and pedagogies within the context of new academic program development, as well as curriculum review and renewal processes for existing programs.
- Provide support, advice and coaching for faculty who want to incorporate indigenous ways of knowing and learning into their classroom; provide awareness, education and tools that will help bridge cultural difference.
- Develop and foster community relationships to advance institutional indigenization and reconciliation efforts through community events and partnerships.
- Advance instructional and academic leadership development among faculty by utilizing and modeling active learning techniques and through the use of Indigenous pedagogies and Ways of Knowing.
- QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE**Specific Accountabilities**

**Duties**

**Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)**
- Master’s degree in Adult Education, Indigenous Education, Curriculum Studies (or other relevant field); or a Master’s degree in progress (to be completed within a year). An equivalent combination of education and lived experience in a field of Indigenization and reconciliation may be considered.
- Three years of relevant experience in planning, preparing, and delivering training for adult learners, utilizing Indigenous perspectives, pedagogies, and Ways of Knowing.
- Experience in the use and integration of technology and technology-enabled learning in curriculum and instruction.
- Self-identifies as an Indigenous person with lived experience and expertise in Indigenous knowledges, epistemologies, methodologies, histories, traditions, and/or languages.
- Demonstrated ability to create higher education curriculum that centers on Indigenous knowledge and reflects Indigenous ways of teaching and learning.
- Experience with the culture, protocols, and knowledge systems of one or more diverse Indigenous groups of Saskatchewan. Experience with the land-based or applied pedagogies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to research, select and develop appropriate assessment tools.
- Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
- Ability to take initiative without specific direction and complete tasks by removing barriers and locating necessary resources.
- Demonstrates valuing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
