**Job Summary**:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **Executive Chef** to lead our kitchen operations. This is a **hands-on role** that requires a dedicated professional passionate about food, teamwork, and excellence. As the Head Chef, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, oversee a team of 10+ staff, and play a key role in delivering exceptional food and service.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Leadership and Team Development**:
- Lead, manage, and motivate a kitchen team of 10+ staff.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to meet the restaurant's high standards.
- Foster a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
- **Culinary Excellence**:
- Oversee menu execution and ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Actively participate in food preparation and cooking to set the standard for the team.
- Innovate and update menu offerings while preserving the authenticity of our cuisine.
- **Catering Management**:
- Plan, organize, and execute catering events, ensuring flawless service and high-quality dishes.
- Coordinate with clients and staff to meet specific catering needs.
- **Operational Oversight**:
- Work in tandem with the General Manager to meet operational goals.
- Manage inventory, food costs, and vendor relations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- **Vendor and Supplier Relations**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure high-quality ingredients.
- Negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
- **Communication and Collaboration**:
- Maintain open and effective communication with the General Manager and other team members.
- Participate in planning and strategy meetings to align kitchen operations with business goals.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- **Hands-on approach to leadership and operations—this is not a desk job.**:
- Experience in catering management is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
