**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The **Manager, Intensive Treatment Services** is a full-time permanent role that is accountable for the delivery of intensive treatment services by providing the clinical and administrative supervision to experienced individual and family therapists offering individual, group and family counselling, across milieu programs which includes the admissions processes

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Provide clinical direction, guidance and support to a multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary team of child and youth mental health professionals, in Intensive Services (Day Treatment and Live in Treatment) in adherence to established legislative and accredited service standards, ensuring delivery of high-quality evidence-based/evidence-informed services
- Develop, enhance, innovate and implement clinical treatment services to ensure that services are provided in accordance with relevant legislation and accreditation standards/college requirements/Ministry expectations and the organization’s mandate, vision, mission, philosophy and clinical standards of service, including policies, procedures and practices.
- Implement organizational activities that promote equity, diversity and inclusion in all services

- Ensure all administrative requirements related to operations are completed in a timely, accurate and effective manner
- Develop, establish and maintain effective collaborative working relationships with community partners and stakeholders to ensure outreach, coordination and integration of the Organization’s services
- Support staff wellness and be responsible for directing the work in their area to ensure that it is carried out in a safe and productive manner and that staff are properly trained and protected from hazardous conditions
**THE “MUST HAVES”**
The following education, professional memberships and knowledge are a requirement for this role:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or equivalent
- Professional registration in good standing with the relevant college
- A minimum of 5 years as a mental health clinician
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising clinical staff/students in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
- Strong background in CYMH with knowledge of Developmental Trauma, Attachment and relevant evidence-based practices.
- Eligible and able to provide clinical supervision to a team of psychotherapists and social workers
- Demonstrated expertise in the implementation of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, as well, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Family Therapy.
- Excellent organizational skills, leadership, talent management and team building skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Proficient understanding and use of technology
- Manage workload pressures as they arise and respond in a timely, effective manner
- Knowledge of needs assessment, quality improvement, data gathering/analysis and evaluation.
- Awareness of the role of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and within the community being served by the position.
- An understanding of Anti-Black Racism, anti-oppressive/anti-racism perspective in the context of the social determinants of health when working with clients and their families.
- Ability to recognize and identify situations where incidents of and imbalance of power and privilege may occur and can result in possible negative impacts for the client.
**THE ‘NICE TO HAVES’**
- Experience in supervising Intensive Services (Day-Treatment and Live In Treatment)
- Experience in working in a unionized environment
- Functional computer and client information system knowledge.
- Knowledge of the cultural diversity of communities served by the agency.
- Fluency in another language(s), including sign language.
