**The Opportunity**:
**The Academic Coordinator and Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of program submissions, maintaining program health, managing program launch checklists, and overseeing program renewals.
The position involves working closely with the Academic Services team and other departments to ensure that academic projects and programs are completed on time, within scope, and to a high standard.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Oversee the submission and renewal of academic programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain the health of academic programs through regular reviews and updates.Manage program launch checklists, coordinating with various departments to ensure successful implementationConduct market research for potential new programs and assist with program accreditation preparation.Post and submit price changes for programs into provincial registration systems.Develop project plans based on best practices.Coach, provide feedback, and performance analysis for and with direct reports.Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and required resources.Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables throughout the lifecycle.Chair project meetings and distribute minutes to team members.Update the College Administration System (XCAS) with accurate resource and curriculum updates.Assemble final program submission packages for each location.Build program and course profiles within the College Management System.

**Knowledge and Skill Requirements**:
College or University Degree in project management, business, education, or other related fields.
Knowledge of project management is required.A minimum of 2 years of experience in an office environment.Proofreading or editing text experienced is considered an assetExperience in an educational setting is considered an asset.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge and skills in MS Office.
