- Salary range for HR Advisor - HR Succession Program is between $62,000 and $72,000 CAD annually and is based on experience
- Please note that this role is part of Cascades' HR Succession Program team to become Human Resources Manager
- Assist managers and supervisors with employee issues, including documentation and advice
- Collaborate with HR centers of expertise to manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, background checks, and offer letters
- Help develop and enforce HR policies and ensure compliance across all levels
- Support the performance review process, offering training and ensuring completion
- Contribute to community involvement, employee engagement, and mental health initiatives
- Maintain accurate employee records in line with legal and company requirements
- Provide managers with HR support, training, and resources for performance management and succession planning
- Manage health and safety programs, including work compensation, disability claims, and fostering a safety-conscious and supportive work culture
- Support plant engagement by aligning HR activities with Cascades’ values and business strategy

You too, put forward your strengths:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Curious and eager to learn, with a continuous drive to expand knowledge and skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster positive working relationships and deliver clear, compelling presentations both orally and in writing
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced, change-focused environment
- Demonstrates discretion, with a positive, professional demeanor at all times
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledgeable in relevant legislative requirements and standards
- Must have mobility within the Greater Toronto Area
