We are looking for an individual with a passion for home care and making a difference in people’s lives every day who is willing to develop themselves with additional administrative and leadership skills. - **Experienced Scheduler & Care Relationship Administrator Key Responsibilities**:_ - Day to day scheduling of a team of passionate caregivers. - Support team members with office administration functions to ensure the smooth running of the business on a day-to-day basis. - Ensure the matching of clients with caregiver that matches the needs of the client and the skills and experience of the caregiver. - Interact with clients on issues or to seek feedback as required. - Provide support as needed, including weekend and holiday phone relief. - Monitor and respond to general line phone line and inbox. - Maintenance and upkeep of electronic files. - Support the Care Specialist - Payroll/Invoicing with general bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and benefits. - If required, provide home care support to clients to meet their needs which would include, bathing, preparing meals, feeding, changing, and assistance with walking, shopping and light house keeping. assist with anything else that improves their quality of life. - **Key Requirements for this position**:_ - Minimum of a high school diploma - Scheduling and/or administrative assistant knowledge and experience is preferred. - Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the health care or customer service fields. - Have a valid BC driver’s license - Hold a current First Aid qualification - Have a caring attitude with a positive, can-do approach - Computer skills to be able to use the Just Like Family scheduling system. - Compassionate personality - Proficiency in Microsoft suites and experience with scheduling technologies and a particular high proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, as well as scanning and storing documents. - A desire to make a difference in people’s lives. - Knowledge of office responsibilities, systems, and procedures. - Administrative assistant / bookkeeping certificate program is preferred. - A track record of strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task efficiently. - Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work. - Attention to detail and critical thinking skills. - Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written. - A passion for quality care - **In return, the company will offer**:_ - Competitive and generous retribution - Benefits (including a Health Spending Account) - Development, feedback, and support of career goals - Opportunity to be a key influencer within a fast-growing business that makes a difference to people lives every day. **Compensation**: - $25 an hour (Annual review) This role is for 24 hours a week, which would mean working each week on Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Mondays during the day.
