**Mandate**
Under the supervision of Human Resources Canada management team, the Administrative Assistant, Human Resources provides technical assistance to human resources management partners in matters of group insurance, clerical documents and file follow-up. More specifically, the person assists the Vice-President in operations related to the drafting of letters, hiring contracts, performance, discipline letters, etc. Here is an overview of the responsibilities that the person should fulfill:
**Responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support in human resources related to hiring (chip activation and preparation of new employee package, integration plan etc.).
- Ensures the onboarding, integration and training process for new employees.
- Creates and updates employee files in the various computer systems involved in payroll and/or group insurance.
- Processes hires and terminations in accordance with established policies.
- Completes, verifies and processes group insurance forms.
- Creates and maintains the various reports required by the human resources and finance departments.
- Writes various communications for the department (contract, employment confirmation, discipline, etc.).
- Performs information transfer and follow-up of OHS and disability files.
- DEC in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills.
- Bilingualism essential to communicate with employees based in different regions of Canada.
- Knowledge of employee benefits.
- Spanish is a strong asset.
- Good knowledge of the Windows environment.
- Attention to detail.

**Mandat**
Sous la supervision de la direction des ressources humaines Canada, le ou la assistant.e administratif.ive, ressources humaines fournit une assistance technique aux partenaires en gestion des ressources humaines en matière d’assurances collectives, de documents cléricaux ainsi que de suivi de dossiers. La personne assiste plus particulièrement la vice-présidente pour les opérations relatives à la rédaction de lettre, de contrat d’embauche, de lettre de performance, de discipline etc. Voici un aperçu des responsabilités que la personne devrait combler:
**Responsabilités**
- Apporter un soutien administratif en ressources humaines reliées à l’embauche (activation de la puce et préparation de la pochette du nouvel employé, plan d’intégration etc.).
- Assure le processus d’accueil, d’intégration et de formation des nouveaux employés.
- Créé et met à jour les dossiers employés dans les différents systèmes informatiques visés par la paie et ou l’assurance collective.
- Traite les embauches et les départs conformément aux politiques établies
- Remplit, vérifie et traite les formulaires d’assurance collective.
- Crée et maintien les différents rapports nécessaires pour les départements de ressources humaines et pour les finances
- Écrit différentes communications pour le département (contrat, confirmation d’emploi, discipline, etc).
- Effectuer le transfert d’information et suivi des dossiers SST et d’invalidité.
