**Description**:**

The Social Worker will function as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing, but not limited to, support services to students, families, and Board personnel through consultation/assessment; crisis intervention; counselling; attendance investigation; community liaison/networking; prevention programming; professional development; child/family advocacy.

**Qualifications**:**
- Minimum B.S.W, M.S.W preferred
- Valid Ontario driver's license
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, written and computer skills
- Proven assessment and intervention skills
- Experience in providing school based social work services from an evidence informed practice perspective
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Maturity in dealing with confidential information
- Membership in good standing with The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Previous work in an education setting is beneficial
