- Zurich Canada is currently looking for a Bilingual Claims Administrative Support Specialist in our Montreal office to provide administrative and supporting functions to ensure the office operates at a high level of efficiency and compliance.
- Reporting to the Senior Claims Administration Manager, you will handle key support functions, manage financial processing, generate and process reports, manage database records, respond to customer inquiries, assist with claims setup, and provide administrative support for jurisdictional form processing. This is a unique opportunity to build your knowledge and experience for the future in a supportive environment where your voice matters.

- What you will do
- Handle key support functions for the office, as outlined in operations best practices.
- Manage financial processing, including wire transfers, recovery processing, and payments, per defined workflows.
- Generate, distribute, and process internal control reports or other operational reporting per defined workflows.
- Manage database records as appropriate.
- Respond to customer inquiries quickly, accurately, and professionally. Offer first-level problem resolution to customers and escalate inquiries appropriately.
- Assist with claims setup, research complex claim and policy coding issues, and documentation retrieval as appropriate.
- Identify and resolve problems by referring to procedural documentation and reference materials.
- Offer process improvement ideas.
- Provide administrative support for jurisdictional form processing through demonstrated knowledge of claim data and form requirements.
- Handle further administrative projects as assigned.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and high-quality work in response to management direction and internal customer needs.
- Complete assigned work within established standards for timeliness and accuracy.
- Ensure regular predictable attendance.
- Participate in business travel, mandatory overtime during peak periods, shift work, and holiday work as required.
- Job Qualifications - What you bring to the table
**Required**:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the Clerical or Office area
OR
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Clerical or Office area
- AND
- Fluent proficiency in both English and French
**Preferred**:
- Strong Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
**Fluency in both spoken and written English is required to facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec.**
