Early Learner Classroom Assistant

We are looking for an Early Learner Assistant to help our young students develop literacy and numeracy skills in a classroom environment according to the Kumon Method of Learning.
**Required Availability**:
Must be available both Wednesdays 3:30-7:30 and Saturdays 9:30-1:30
**Duties**:
- guide young children during class time as they complete their math and/or reading assignments
- mark student assignments and record their results
- help prepare student files with assignments
**Qualifications**:
- minimum of grade 12; ideal as a part time position for post
- secondary students
- must have excellent written and oral English communication skills
- must enjoy working with preschool and elementary grade children
- must enjoy a fast pace environment, be able to multitask, possess excellent organizational skills and be flexible
- must be able to provide a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
- training is provided
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $15.30 per hour
Work Location: In person
