**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's progress and well-being
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities
- Collaborate with team members to plan activities that meet individual needs, including those with special needs or disabilities
- Use computer skills to document student progress, prepare educational materials, and communicate with families
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and leadership skills
- Organize classroom resources and maintain cleanliness to ensure a safe learning space
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education best practices

**Experience**
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and curriculum development
- Experience in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, including writing skills for documentation and parent communication
- Organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently and effectively
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in guiding young learners and collaborating with team members
- Computer operation skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes

Pay: $16.84-$26.83 per hour
