We’re seeking a dynamic **General Manager** to lead our York Region office, based in Richmond Hill. This is a unique opportunity to drive growth, inspire a dedicated team, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors and their families.
**About the Role**
A General Manager at Home Instead coordinates and leads all activities in the office, from day-to-day operations to the long-term growth and development of the business. You will ensure the provision of quality care, provide leadership for the care team, build the Home Instead brand within the local community, recruit, train, manage and motivate a high-performing team of Care Professionals and office staff, and manage operations. You’ll devise strategies for future growth while ensuring all policies, processes, procedures, and systems are followed embedding a culture of best practices at every level.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Develop and manage the annual franchise operational plan and budget.
- Achieve revenue, profitability, and other operational metrics.
- Lead and manage all Home Instead® departments care managers, scheduling, recruitment and engagement, client services, sales and business development.
- Manage outcomes of all department activities and make adjustments to ensure goals are achieved.
- Participate in sales calls, leadership calls, and Home Instead network meetings/conferences.
- Demonstrate a sales-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and growing the business.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with community referral sources.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and business ethics, communicating them effectively to all employees.

- Proven leadership experience in healthcare, home care, senior services, hospitality or a related industry.
- Demonstrated success in sales management and business development with measurable results.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance metrics, manage budgets, and drive profitability.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and people management skills.
- Passion for making a difference in the lives of seniors and their families.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

**Requirements**:
- Must have a valid drivers license, possess valid car insurance, and have full time access to a reliable vehicle
- Post Secondary Education preferred
- Sales experience would be beneficial
- Employment will be conditional until a clean Vulnerable Sector Check is produced
